More drama, this time from a high ranking Jowood official. I think Jowood is attempting some damagecontrol and if im not mistaken theyre trying to get the protal up again? Just at first glance tho. Ill try to translate more seriously now.. :p

Yes, there is an official post in the german section an Jowood promised to do something. I asked for a similar statement here and I hope it will come soon. Sorry thats all I can do, Jowoodstuff has to be handled by Jowood - I´m no official.

Leider hat gEasy Entwicklungsteam mit dem unvermittelten Einstellen der Serverdienste der Fangemeinde einen Bärendienst erwiesen. Da JoWooD immer bereit war und nach wie vor ist, das Söldner Projekt zu finanzieren und dies entgegen der leider unrichtigen Darstellungen der gEasy GmbH auch im notwendigen Umfang bis zuletzt getan hat, ist uns die Handlungsweise der gEasy GmbH, die auf dem Rücken der Spieler ausgetragen wird, umso unverständlicher.[What they mean: We are completely surprised by how Geasy has acted! Jowood has no blame and has never wanted this! I cant believe they took down the portal! Forgive us! Bla.]

Aufgrund der leider wenig erfreulichen Erfahrungen der letzten Wochen mit dem Server Betreiber gEasy sieht sich JoWooD in der Pflicht, auf eigene Kosten eine Serverlösung zu installieren, um dadurch besser als in der Vergangenheit einen durchgängigen Betrieb gewährleisten zu können, damit der Community auch in Zukunft das Spielen von SSW möglich ist.[What they mean: Because Geasy completely screwed up the last few weeks, we, Jowood (you may also call us your god and saviour of mankind), now has the duty to buy servers for you to continue our support for Soldner! Didnt you hear me? Its all THEIR fault and WE have to fix it! Boo geasy booooo!]

Wir würden uns über die aktive Unterstützung der Community beim technischen Serveraufbau freuen. JoWooD möchte in Zukunft sowohl mit personellen als auch finanziellen Ressourcen eine weitaus aktivere Rolle in der Betreuung einnehmen.[What they mean: Oh and also, you guys RAWK! We love you!! After a little googleling :p I found out that the post was made by Stefan Berger en really he is the Senior brand manager @ jowood since 2005.
